Structure of the Course

Programme Outline

During each residential study period, the teaching programme typically includes:

  • Lectures and Seminars
  • Workshops
  • Studio projects
  • Meetings with Director of Studies and Supervisors

Between residential sessions students conduct research and prepare the written work needed to achieve the degree. This comprises:

  • Case Study
  • Two Essays
  • Thesis

The course is a broadening, challenging experience, which apart from fostering the philosophy and skills of cross-disciplinary thinking and working, allows you to step ‘outside the box’ and savour the intellectual and physical climate of Cambridge University.
